Hair: some facts

The hair on our head grows the fastest in comparison to the hair that grows on the rest of our body’s. Generally head hair on man can grow between 40-50 cm, on woman it can grow up to 70-80 cm. Head hair doesn’t grow endlessly, this has to do with the hair cycle witch differs for every hair from 2-7 years. Every hair can re-grow about 12 times. Baldness has to do with the cycle of the hair growth. The amount of hair varies per person. But in general blondes have the most hair, up to 140.00, then come people with black hair and brunettes with about 100.000 hairs and red heads generally have the least hear around 85.000. There are different types of hair, thick thin, curly straight and everything in between. It all depends on race, genetics and outside influences like food and conditioning.
